Tourist
Visa
A tourist visa can be issued for not longer than
one month! When entering Russia with a tourist visa,
you are required also to present at the border check
point your tourist confirmation, voucher from your
hotel and a return ticket with a fixed date of departure
from Russia. You also will have to prove that you
have sufficient funds for your travel. However, this
does not apply to cruises and tourist groups. Your
cruise sponsors must provide you with the name and
reference number of the Russian organization which
will be responsible for this cruise. If you're going
on a package tour, all the formalities can be sorted
out for you by the travel agency. If you are traveling
independently, some hotels and hostels in Saint-Petersburg
can arrange the necessary visa support for you. Visa
processing starts only after the Consulate have collected
all necessary documents. After you receive your visa
please check it for mistakes (passport number, date
of birth, validity) and, if necessary, return it
to the Consulate for corrections. The Consulate will
not be responsible for any mistakes in the visas,
which were not brought to our attention prior to
your departure. Please, note that visas cannot be
changed or extended. If your travel plans changed
after the visa issuance you have to reapply for a
new visa. Any visa applicant may be interviewed by
a consular officer if necessary. Processing time,
requirements and fees are subject to change without
notice.
To obtain a Russian Tourist Visa the following
documents should be submitted to the Russian
Embassy or Consulate:
- A completed
visa application form (one
per person) available at the Consulate
or from travel agencies and visa services.

- A passport with at least two clear pages for a visa that is valid not less
than one month after the date of your departure from Russia or (in some cases)
a photocopy of the passport's vital information pages showing Name, Birth
Date, Passport Number, Expiration Date.
- One passport
size photo of the applicant which should be stapled to the marked
space at the upper right-hand corner of the application form.
- An invitation - a standard tourist confirmation from a hosting authorized
Russian travel agency or a hotel, registered with the Russian Ministry of
Foreign Affairs
and a voucher from your hotel or travel agency in Russia. The confirmation
must contain the agency's reference number and registration number. We can
supply
you with all these documents for just 30 EURO per person. Note that visa
support documents are free of charge, if you are renting an apartment with
our company.
