Visa
All foreign nationals visiting Russia require a visa, which must be obtained
in advance from a Russian Embassy or a Consulate. If you do it yourself,
it entails a considerable effort, and costs more the quicker the process
proceeds. To avoid queuing and experiencing Russian bureaucracy at its
worst, it's probably worth spending some extra money to have the entire
business done through a visa-service agency. But whatever way you choose,
the procedure for receiving a Russian visa consists of three steps:
1. Obtaining the Visa Invitation to Russia
2. Getting the visa issued by the Russian Consulate
3. Registering your visa upon arrival in Russia |
